<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal print head capable of improving the service life of a platen roller.SOLUTION: A thermal print head includes: a base material 11 with a base material surface 111; a resistor layer 4 formed on the base material 11; a heat storage section 21; and an electrode layer 3 which is formed on the base material surface 111 to be conducted to the resistor layer 4. The electrode layer 3 includes a first conduction section and a second conduction section which are separated from each other through a space. The resistor layer 4 includes a heating section 41 being put over the first conduction section and the second conduction section in a thickness direction Z view of the base material 11. In the heat storage section 21, a heat storage section recess 211A is formed. The heat storage section recess 211A is overlapped with at least a part of the heating section 41 in the thickness direction Z view of the base material 11.</p> |
