<p>Divinyl cpds. useful in thermosetting resins, are prepd. by reacting one mole of an epoxy pref. of m. wt. less than 2000 esp. 1-epoxyethyl 3,4-epoxycyclohexane with 2 moles acrylic or methacrylic acid then reacting the divinyl ester condensate with a satd. aliphatic acid halide pref. butyric acid chloride.</p> |
