The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing sightseeing information according to regional preference, capable of: providing sightseeing information of Korean 230 local governments (province and metropolitan city (based on borough office)) in text, photo, and video types; and providing regional sightseeing information according to preference using user information collected therethrough, thereby developing specialized regional sightseeing products. The system comprises: a user device which includes a user PC, a user smartphone, a user tablet, an information terminal, and a kiosk to identify sightseeing information by content through a communications network including an Internet network and a mobile communications network and to generate traffic according to the identification; a local government server to provide local government information including regional content, regional specialties and regional information through the communications network including an Internet network and a mobile communications network; and a sightseeing information providing server to collect information including the sightseeing information by a user, the traffic, and the local government information provided by local governments through the user device, the local government server and the communications network including an Internet network and a mobile communications network, to process collected information data to be displayed through an Internet webpage and an application, and to calculate preference according to the traffic of the corresponding content. |
