<p>Disclosed in the present invention is a gate valve with a reduced thickness, volume, and weight. The gate valve includes a housing module, a sealing module, and a transferring module. The housing module has a first opening unit and a second opening unit which have a shape extending lengthily in a first direction. The sealing module is placed inside the housing module, and includes a push-pull actuating assembly which has a first and a second sealing plate, a sealing body, multiple first push-pull cylinders, and multiple second push-pull cylinders. The transferring module is placed outside the housing module, and makes the sealing module reciprocate along a second direction that crosses the first direction. The sealing body has a body transmitting path therein, and has multiple first cylinder mounting grooves and multiple second cylinder mounting grooves, corresponding to each other. The first push-pull cylinders are inserted into the first cylinder mounting grooves respectively, and push or pull the first sealing plate by the transmission of a fluid through the body transmitting path. The second push-pull cylinders are inserted into the second cylinder mounting grooves respectively, and push or pull the second sealing plate by the transmission of the fluid through the body transmitting path. Therefore, the gate valve can reduce the thickness, volume, and weight of the push-pull actuating assembly.</p> |
