<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield connector which can certainly contact with a pair of shield shells covering a connector housing. <P>SOLUTION: A shield connector has a pair of shield shells 30 and 40 which are assembled with each other while covering a connector housing H. The pair of the shield shells 30 and 40 is provided with a fastening connecting portion 51 electrically connected by a bolt. At a position opposing to the fastening connecting portion 51 over the connector housing H, a side surface contacting portion 52 to which a side wall is contacted is provided. The side surface contacting portion 52 has a wall portion 36 raised in an assembling direction of the pair of the shield shells 30 and 40 from one shield shell 30 of the pair of the shield shells 30 and 40; and a contacting portion 47 projecting obliquely outward in regard to the assembling direction from the other shield shell 40 and arranged on the inside of the wall portion 36.
