<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cane with a lock mechanism that has a high strength as well as facilitating operation for adjusting length.SOLUTION: The lock mechanism of a cane includes: a grip part 2; a cane body that is composed of an upper pipe 10, an intermediate pipes 20, 21, and a lower pipe 30, the cane body being integrated into one body by joining each pipe; and a ferrule part 3 that is provided under the lower pipe 30. The lock mechanism is configured to make each pipe freely detachably joined with an elastic string 4 installed from the inside of the upper pipe to the inside of the lower pipe. The upper pipe 10 comprises: a plurality of locking grooves 11; a length adjustment pipe 12 which is inserted for a prescribed length into the upper pipe 10 from the tip end side in a manner adjustable in length; and a locking button 13 protruding to the outer surface by being supported with an energizing means which is fixed inside the length adjustment pipe 12 on the tip end side thereof. The upper pipe is equipped with a length adjustment mechanism which performs length adjustment of the cane body in accordance with a position engaging with the locking grooves 11.</p> |
