<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad carriage which can improve reliability of protection of a crew's room and a passenger room.SOLUTION: Slowdown state determination means determines whether a running state of a railroad carriage 1 is in an appointed slowdown state. When the railroad carriage 1 is in the appointed slowdown state, height regulation mechanisms 14, 24 and 34 work and adjust difference of elevation of bodies 4, 5 and 6 in a rail direction. As a result, levelness of couplers 7 and 8 are regulated. Vertical buckling of the bodies 4, 5 and 6 accompanying to slowdown is suppressed. Reliability of protection of a crew's room 4a and a passenger room improves because energy at the time of collision is easy to be absorbed in a shock absorption mechanism 4b.</p> |
