摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible a countermeasure for applying dimple processing to an inner peripheral face of a cylinder, and a countermeasure for applying a stripe-shaped low-friction coating to an outer peripheral face of a piston, thereby improve fuel economy by largely enhancing a friction force reduction effect more than the case that any one of the countermeasures is singly taken .SOLUTION: Regarding a slide part lubrication structure of a piston 2 reciprocating in a cylinder 1 which is applied with dimple processing for improving lubrication performance on its inner peripheral face, a low-friction coating is applied to an outer peripheral face of at least the anti-thrust side in a skirt 7 of the piston 2 so that a striped pattern extending in a slide direction of the skit 7 is formed and non-coating parts 9 for releasing lubricants in the slide direction of the skirt 7 are left between coating parts 8, meanwhile the low-friction coating over a plurality of rows of the non-coating parts 9 is applied to the vicinity of the center of an upper part of the skirt 7 at the anti-thrust side of the piston 2 to add a continuous coating area 11 which corresponds an area of a plurality of rows of the coating parts.</p>
