PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer capable of accurately calculating an amount of deviation of a level difference even for a printing medium with a printing medium processing part by removing influence of the printing medium processing part.SOLUTION: A printing control unit 9 prints a level difference correction chart on continuous form paper WP with a print head 17, reads the printed level difference correction chart with an inspection unit 21, detects a lateral perforation PF in the read level difference correction chart UC and generates a non-influence level difference correction chart NUC by removing the influence of the lateral perforation PF even if the lateral perforation PF is included. Since an amount of deviation is calculated on the basis of the non-influence level difference correction chart NUC, the amount of deviation of the level difference can be accurately calculated even for the continuous form paper WP with the lateral perforation PF. |
