Track condition signals are transmitted to a receiver on the locomotive or guards van. The signals are transmitted by a punctiform sender allocated to a track section head. An erasing signal generator is allocated to each track point. The receiver has a store for each received track signal. One detector recognises the erasing signal, and a second detector the signal. They control switches erasing the store content, or writing-in new track signals if they are not preceded by an erasing signal.
