The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a glide with rounded edges, which comprises the following steps: taking at least one felt element which has: - a first face covered with an adhesive, said adhesive being coated with a protective layer, and - a second face the opposite face to the first face; a plurality of cuts are made in the felt element, the shape of the cuts being suited to yielding a plurality of glides each having a first face covered with the adhesive coated with the protective layer and a second face the opposite face to this first face; the second face of each of the glides obtained in the cutting step is hot pressed to make said second face of each of the glides convex. |
