Provided is a method for identifying one or more selected keys in a keyboard of a display device having a keyboard layout including a plurality of keys. The method comprises the step of: identifying one or more selected keys based on the positions of the one or more selected keys in a keyboard displayed on a display device; updating a provided image frame with the stored images of the one or more selected keys and enabling the display device to generate the updated image frame representing the one selected key so as to display the one or more selected keys; and enabling the display device to display the updated image frame while another image frame displaying the one or more selected keys is being provided.
