PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable pad material which can be easily and stably stuck to a site and is carried and stored without burden eve if a container main body for water retaining gel and a support sheet becomes bigger because an amount of water retaining gel becomes large. SOLUTION: The portable pad material has the container main body 10 the upper face of whose housing concaved portion 11 is opened, the water retaining gel 20 which is gelatinized water soluble polymer containing water and is housed within the housing concaved portion, the supporting sheet 30 holding the water retaining gel, and a lid material 40 closing the opening of the housing concaved portion under a condition where the water retaining gel and the supporting sheet are housed within the housing concaved portion.
