<p>The present invention relates to a data backup system and a data backup method and, more particularly, to a data backup system and a data backup method using a dual emulator, wherein data are unidirectionally transferred from a storage device having raw data to a storage medium for backup, and compatibility is improved by converting the bus width of the raw data to correspond to the interface of the storage medium and transferring the raw data in transferring data by sector. Errors are confirmed before the conversion of the bus width and after storage in the storage device. If there is an error sector, only the address of the sector is stored and the transfer of the raw data of a following sector is conducted after neglecting the error sector. Decrease in a data transfer speed due to the conversion of the bus width or the like can be minimized by re-conducting the data transfer of only the error sectors after the transfer of the raw data of all sectors is finished. The real-time data backup system comprises: a security emulator for unidirectionally transferring raw data; and a conversion emulator connected to a storage medium for backup.</p> |
