FIELD: physics, computer engineering.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an imaging device, a signal processing method and a programme, which enable to generate images with a wide dynamic range and high quality, through image synthesis processing using a plurality of images with a different exposure time. To generate a normal image, image signals are stored in a storage device and read from the storage device after image correction. To generate a wide dynamic range image, image signals are stored in a storage device and read from the storage device before image signal correction.EFFECT: reduced capacity of the storage device required, preventing errors at the output when switching between modes of capturing two types of images (a wide dynamic range image and a normal image) and providing smooth mode switching; the imaging device differently controls the input/output circuit of the storage device to generate a normal image and to generate a wide dynamic range image.20 cl, 22 dwg |
