A printer (1) comprises a roll supporting part (4) configured to rotatably support a print-receiving tape roll (3) that winds a print-receiving tape (3A) in a rolled form, feeding means (66) configured to pull out and feed said print-receiving tape (3A) of said print-receiving tape roll (3) supported by said roll supporting part (4), printing means (61) configured to perform desired print on said print-receiving tape (3A) that is fed out and fed from said print-receiving tape roll (3) by said pull-out of said feeding means (66), and urging means (400) configured to elastically press the print-receiving tape roll (3) supported by said roll supporting part (4) inward in a radial direction of said print-receiving tape roll (3) while said print-receiving tape (3A) being fed out.
