<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest for vehicle excellent in operationality.SOLUTION: An armrest 1A for vehicle is provided with an armrest body 3A, and an installation part 2A fixed to a seat back SB and supporting the armrest body 3A, and the armrest body 3A extends nearly horizontally at the side of the seat back SB. Besides, the armrest 1A comprises a locking mechanism for locking the armrest body 3A on a prescribed height, a lock release mechanism for releasing lock by the locking mechanism, and an operation part 4A which is provided at the foreside of the armrest body and conducts lock release of the lock release mechanism. The operation part 4A performs the operation except that moving the armrest body 3A downward in the operation thereto. The armrest body 3A moves vertically in a nearly horizontal state by the lock release.</p> |
