An electronic device and a control method thereof of the present invention includes: a display module; a camera to obtain a user′s gesture; a projection module to project a virtual control object on a plane within a specific distance from the electronic device; and a control unit to display a scene related to an executing operation in an electronic device on the display module, and projecting a virtual control object which controls at least one executing operation in the electronic device at a time when the user′s gesture is received through the projection module on the plane. The present invention is able to project the virtual control object to control the executing operation in the electronic device on the plane. |
