摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for producing a slurry high in storage stability of an electrode slurry and capable of obtaining a negative electrode excellent in adhesion; a negative electrode; and a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: A method for producing a negative electrode slurry for a secondary battery includes: a first step of preparing an aqueous solution of a polymer (A) having a constitutional unit represented by the following general formula (1); and a second step of kneading the aqueous solution and a negative electrode active material to form a slurry. The viscosity average molecular weight (M(A)) of a polymer (A) in the slurry obtained through the second step is adjusted to be 0.3 or more relative to the viscosity average molecular weight (M(A)) of the polymer (A). (In the formula, Rand Reach represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and n represents an integer of 1-30,000,000.)
