The device (10) has a lower section connected to an upper section by suspension units that are in the form of arched walls. An elastically deformable part (32) is movable between rigid and flexible positions in which an elastic body of the deformable part is respectively adapted and not adapted to realize an elastic coupling between the sections with a stiffness, when a pressure is applied on the device, for modifying the stiffness of the device. The deformable part traverses an opening formed in a plate (14) of the upper section such that the mobile part is actuated by an operator.
