CANISTER-TYPE THRUSTER

A canister-type thruster is disclosed. The canister-type thruster according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a canister lifting in a trunk of a hull or a floatable structure; a lifting device for lifting the canister; and a guide device for guiding the lifting of the canister. The lifting device comprises: a rack gear extended in a lifting direction on the outer surface of the canister, and having first and second tooth parts with different engagement phases; pinion gears installed in the trunk, and having first and second tooth parts engaged with the first and second tooth parts of the rack gear while having different engagement phases; and a lifting driving part having a driving source for driving the pinion gears.
