<p>An electrical chassis (1) for use in high temperature environments is disclosed. The electrical chassis (1) may be employed, for example, in close proximity to the combustion chamber of a jet engine. The electrical chassis is constructed with a substrate (10)formed from a material with low thermal conductivity and low electrical conductivity, such as polyetheretherketone. A reflective surface (30) may be disposed on a housing (20) containing the substrate to reduce the absorption of radiation. The reflective surface may be formed of copper or nickel plating and may function as a Faraday shield. A heat sink (40) and fluid inlet (42) and outlet (44) may also be arranged to remove heat generated by electrical components (15) mounted on the substrate (10).</p> |
