The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing oil phase pollutants from subsurface water, which comprises an adsorbent case having multiple through-holes on the side and the bottom each; an oil adsorbent mounted within the adsorbent case; an upper lid coupled to the upper part of the adsorbent case and having a support strap connected to the upper end thereof; an oil collection container coupled to the lower part of the adsorbent case and having an empty inside; a water level sensor installed on the inner wall of the oil collection container; and a lower lid coupled to the lower part of the oil collection container and having a weight connected to the lower end to control buoyancy. The apparatus according to the present invention can separate and remove only oil phase pollutants in a very effective and economic method while preventing the loss of subsurface water.
