The present invention relates to a tidal current power generation device (100) including: a plurality of rotating blades (111) rotating about a vertical rotation axis (112) by a tide; and a rotary reaction force damping means (113) to cover a portion of the rotating blades (111), wherein the rotary reaction force damping means (113) rotates about the rotation axis (112) depending on the direction of the tide. According to the invention, not only is the invention possible to increase the efficiency by minimizing a tide reaction force applied to a rotating body, but a rotating body and a stream equipment structure are relatively simple; and the installation and maintenance easy.
