<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reducing deflection without increasing the weight of a structural member. <P>SOLUTION: This is a method of reducing deflection of a structural member 1, to which a bracket 2 is welded in a central part 5 and of which has the cross sectional secondary moment Iu. Deflection can be reduced without increasing the weight by increasing the cross sectional secondary moment Ic in the central part 5 and reducing the cross sectional secondary moment Ie in both ends 6 so that the minimum value Ic of the cross sectional secondary moment in the central part 5 of the structural member 1 and the maximum value 1e of the cross sectional secondary moment in both ends 6 of the structural member 6 satisfy a relation of (Ic/Iu)≥(Ie/Iu)<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
