PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide monolithic refractory which is used in execution of refractory for a bottom part of a coke furnace, and is casted and filled in the periphery of a plurality of red bricks, and from which a construction body having uniform and high strength characteristics and excellent heat resistance is obtained by simple execution, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The method for producing monolithic refractory includes a process comprising: blending a dispersant and a thickening agent with a refractory composition, obtained by blending refractory particles each having a particle diameter of 5-0.5 mm, refractory particles each having a particle diameter less than 0.5 mm, a refractory superfine powder having a median particle diameter of 7 μm or less, and alumina cement, each in a predetermined amount, and both of the refractory particles each having a particle diameter of 5-0.5 mm and the refractory particles each having a particle diameter less than 0.5 mm have an AlOcontent of 50 mass% or more; then adding water to the resulting blend; and performing kneading. The monolithic refractory obtained by this method has prescribed heat resistance and flowability, and is also provided. |
