PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device capable of connecting a driving side coupling and a driven side coupling even when a tip of a driving claw part and a tip of a driven claw part collide with each other, and an image forming device.SOLUTION: In a coupling device, a driven side coupling can be attached to/detached from a driving side coupling in a driving side coupling axial direction, a driving claw part provided at an end surface of a driving side base part and a driven claw part provided at an end surface of a driven side base part are located alternately, and the driven side coupling and the driving side coupling are coupled by the engagement between the side surfaces of the driving claw part and the driven claw part. The coupling device includes a rotary member which is rotatable around a rotational axis by a driving force from a driving source. The driving side base part is mounted on the rotary member in a rotatable manner. The coupling device further includes: a regulation member for preventing a predetermined amount or more of rotation of the driving side base part in the rotation direction of the rotary member with respect to the rotary member, by coming into contact with a contact part provided at the driving side base part; and an energizing member for energizing the driving side base part in the rotation direction so that the driving side base part is located in a position not in contact with the regulation member. |
