A terminal and an electronic water-resistance method, said terminal comprising: a circuit board, a battery and a housing, said battery acting as a power source for the circuit board, wherein the housing is provided with a transparent medium used for reflecting light and the circuit board includes: a detection module, a control module and a power shutoff switch, wherein the detection module is configured for emitting light towards the transparent medium, receiving the light reflected by said transparent medium, converting the light into electronic signal data and sending same to the control module; the control module is configured for receiving the electronic signal data, comparing same to preset data and, when the difference between the electronic signal data and the preset data reaches a certain threshold, triggering the electricity shutoff switch, wherein the preset data is the electronic signal data for when the light has been entirely reflected by the transparent medium, and the preset threshold is preset in accordance with the light and the transparent medium; the electricity shutoff switch is configured for, after being triggered, breaking the connection between the circuit board and the battery. |
