The invention relates to a friction clutch comprising a counter-pressure plate and a coupling pressure plate and comprising a housing that is secured to the counter-pressure plate, a contact plate that is non-rotatably and axially connected to the housing and a diaphragm spring which is pre-stressed between the housing and the contact plate and which, at an operating point of the friction clutch, applies a predefined contact force to the contact plate and the counter-pressure plate with friction linings of a clutch disk sandwiched therebetween. Said spring, when actuated in the opening direction, can be actuated along an actuation path with a force characteristic curve of a maximum force and a subsequent minimum force by means of an actuating system that engages with the diaphragm spring lugs. To achieve a contact force designed to be independent of the wear on the friction linings and to be energy-effective, at least one servo spring that at least partially compensates a drop in force between the maximum force and the minimum force in the direction of the contact force is associated with the diaphragm spring. |
