PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection pump capable of suppressing occurrence of cavitation.SOLUTION: A fuel injection pump comprises: a pump case; a plunger barrel 30 formed into a cylindrical shape and included in the pump case; an oil feed/exhaust hole 35 penetrating a circumferential wall 31 of the plunger barrel 30 and discharging fuel at least in the plunger barrel 30 to an outside of the plunger barrel 30; a plunger 45 slidably included in the plunger barrel 30, pressurizing the fuel in the plunger barrel 30, and opening/closing an opening portion 36 of the oil feed/exhaust hole 35 open to an inner circumferential surface of the plunger barrel 30; and a deflector 40 rectifying the fuel flowing in the oil feed/exhaust hole 35, eccentric to an open start side if the plunger 45 opens the opening portion 36 at a time of discharging the fuel in the plunger barrel 30 from the oil feed/exhaust hole 35, and included in the oil feed/exhaust hole 35. |
