The float control valve outlet component (4) allows fluid entering the float control valve (1) to be directed elsewhere. The float control valve outlet component (4) comprises a substantially cylindrical body with a bore (7) for flow of a fluid there through. The cylindrical body includes an inlet end (4c) and outlet end (4d). The inlet end (4c) comprises a seat (4f) suitable for a sealing member (3) to abut the outlet end (4d) of the float control valve (1). The outer periphery (4b) of the float control valve outlet component (4) is configured as an annular groove portion (9) shaped as a smooth curvature shape and adapted to receive an over-centre“cam-lock”hose fitting removable connection fitting to allow fluid to be directed elsewhere from the float control valve (1).
