<p>Disclosed are methods, systems, and apparatus including programs encoded on a computer storage medium which identify the current configuration of graphical representations displayed on a user interface, wherein each of the graphical representations is associated with an individual computer-executable application, determine at least one usage signal corresponding to each of the graphical representations, wherein the usage signal reflects user interaction with the individual associated computer-executable application, determine one or more success metrics indicating efficiency of the current configuration of the graphical representations, use an optimization technique, generate the modified configuration of the graphical representations based on the usage signals and the success metrics, and present at least a part of the modified configuration of the graphical representations in the user interface.</p> |
