PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-lubrication screw compressor which has solved the damage of a rotor or the clog of a filter due to the consumption of water or the precipitation of ion of calcium or magnesium contained in city water, if pressurized water feed is performed from the outside to the section between resin rotors at the starting time of a water lubrication screw compressor using the resin rotors.SOLUTION: A water-lubrication screw compressor comprises: a water reservoir disposed at a position of higher than a water supply piping for feeding water to the rotor and the mechanical seal of the compressor or a condensed water recovery piping for recovering the condensed water of a drier to the suction port of the compressor; and a starting time water supply piping and electromagnetic on-off valve for connecting a water reservoir lower part, the suction port of the compressor and the water supply part of the mechanical seal.
