<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform a defrosting operation at a time of an off-timer operation.SOLUTION: An air conditioner including: a frosting detection unit 20 detecting a frosted state of an outdoor heat exchanger 14 during a heating operation; a defrosting determination unit 21 starting a defrosting operation for defrosting the outdoor heat exchanger 14; and a timer setting unit 22 that can stop the heating operation by off-timer reservation setting, comprises a controller that controls the frosting detection unit to detect the frosted state of the outdoor heat exchanger 14 predetermined time before operation stop time set by the timer setting unit 22, controls the defrosting determination unit 21 to determine whether to start the defrosting operation according to timer defrosting conditions relaxed relative to defrosting conditions for a normal heating operation, returning to the heating operation until expiration of timer time after finishing the defrosting operation if defrosting cancel conditions are met, and continuing the heating operation until the expiration of the timer time if the timer defrosting conditions are not satisfied.</p> |
