1. A method comprising:
providing information for display on a user interface of a mobile device, the user interface displaying items that are available for sale from a plurality of network-based systems; receiving a selection of items from the items that are available for sale from the plurality of network-based systems during a first session with the mobile device, the selected items being stored in a shopping cart on the mobile device; receiving a communication to end the first session; in response to a subsequent communication to begin a second session with the mobile device, automatically communicating, using one or more processors, with each of the plurality of network-based systems associated with the selected items to acquire updated information on the selected items that are stored in the shopping cart on the mobile device; receiving a purchase request for one of the selected items that is stored in the shopping cart; and transmitting the purchase request to a third party payment server to process the purchase request. |
