The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling an engine cooling fan motor in a PWM method. The apparatus includes a power filter unit for removing noise which is introduced or emitted through a battery terminal which applies power source to the engine cooling fan motor, or a ground terminal; a load filter unit for removing noise which is introduced into or emitted from the engine cooling fan motor; a switching unit for switching drive power applied to the engine cooling fan motor; and a control unit which drives the switching unit using a PWM pulse duty corresponding to the rotational speed of the engine cooling fan motor and controls the PWM pulse duty to stop the engine cooling fan motor when a current flowing in a power supply path according to the switching, is greater than a reference current. |
