The method involves positioning a front face of an LCD flagstone of a flat LCD screen (1) under a laser cutting head. The flagstone is cut by a laser beam according to a closed cutting contour formed in a central part of the flagstone, which is not covered by a frame, so that one of plastic material layers i.e. plastic films (12a-12c), is not cut out by the laser. The cut out central part of the flagstone is removed. The plastic films, which are not cut previously, are cut by the laser beam when the central portion of the flagstone is removed. An independent claim is also included for a facility for recycling a flat liquid crystal screen. |
