PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of printing an image having high picture quality while considering ink characteristic in a line printer printing by using an UV ink.SOLUTION: The printer comprises: first to fourth heads 31-34 arranged in the order from an upstream side to a downstream side of a transfer direction and discharging an ultraviolet curable ink; and first to fourth radiation parts 41-44. The first to third radiation parts 41-43 radiate radial ray of integrated light quantity in such a degree that the first to three inks discharged by respective prior heads do not completely cure. The fourth radiation part 44 is disposed on the downstream side of the transfer direction of the fourth head 34, and radiates radial ray of integrated light quantity in such a degree that wetting and spreading of the first to fourth inks discharged by the first to fourth heads respectively is stopped on a medium. The radial ray radiated from the first to third radiation parts have a peak wavelength in 350-450 nm, and a color material included in the third and fourth inks has adsorption characteristic of the radial ray in the peak wavelength higher than that included in the first and second inks. |
