PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary kiln shaft center correction device capable of responding to a displacement caused by a local deformation accompanied by a temperature variation in the case where a variation of kiln shell is detected and a displacement of the shaft center accompanied by the variation is corrected.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a rotary kiln shaft center correction device 10 comprising a kiln shell 14, measuring means for measuring a shaft center displacement amount of the kiln shell 14, cooling means for cooling an outer surface of the kiln shell 14 and control means 38 for controlling a cooling amount of the cooling means on the basis of the shaft center displacement amount, is characterized in that the outer surface of the kiln shell 14 is provided with a plurality of measuring points, the measuring means measures the shaft center displacement amount at the plurality of measuring points, the cooling means is arranged in such a way that each of the plurality of measuring points can be independently cooled, and the control means 38 controls the amount of cooling at a measuring point where the displacement of the shaft center becomes a prescribed threshold or more in the plurality of measuring points. |
