Disclosed are a method and device for prompting a Wi-Fi signal. The method comprises: receiving a notification message which is broadcast by a terminal operating system; when the notification message displays that an event relevant to some target Wi-Fi signal occurs in a current terminal, judging whether the target Wi-Fi signal has an unsafe factor or not by detecting attribute information about the target Wi-Fi signal; and if yes, displaying prompt information about the target Wi-Fi signal, the prompt information being used for prompting an unsafe factor contained in the Wi-Fi signal and/or a means for overcoming the unsafe factor. |
