1. An illuminating device for motor vehicle, comprising:
first panel member that is provided with first engaging portion; second panel member that is provided with second engaging portion to be engaged to the first engaging portion, and that covers a part of the first panel member; a housing portion that is partitioned between the first and second panel member; an illumination opening that is partitioned between the first panel member and other end of the second panel member, and that communicates the housing portion and external; and an illuminating portion having a light source portion and a light guide body configured to guide light from the light source portion to the illumination opening, at least the light guide body being housed in the housing portion, wherein one of the first and second engaging portions is a protrusion portion, the other the first and second engaging portions has a recessed portion into which the protrusion portion is to be inserted and an opposite portion that is opposed to the protrusion portion, and a shading portion configured to lower luminance of leak light from the light guide body towards an opposite side to the illumination opening is set at a position between the opposite portion and the light guide body. |
