PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively realize a device that adjusts a mirror surface position into a position, at which if an obstacle is detected, the detected obstacle can be easily seen, without the necessity of configuration that detects the position of the eyes of an occupant.SOLUTION: In a mirror surface control device that controls to adjust the position of a mirror surface according to the position of an obstacle, an ECU 12 controls a mirror surface adjustment drive unit so that a mirror surface position at which an obstacle is easily seen can be attained. In this state, if a mirror surface adjustment switch 20 is maneuvered with an occupant's maneuver in order to perform mirror surface adjustment, a deviation of the mirror surface position from a reference position of the eyes is calculated in order to work out a correction value. If an obstacle is detected next, the calculated correction value is used to control the mirror surface position. |
