PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire and a tire surface printing method which reduce the number of steps and cost for printing the surface of a tire.SOLUTION: A tire has a printed region 5 formed by printing in the outer surface of at least one side part, and the printed region 5 includes a dark color part 7 having the same black color as the ground color of the tire and a bright color part 9 which is arranged so as to surround the dark color part 7 and has a color different from the black color. No coating is arranged in the dark color part 7, and the bright color part 9 has a white color layer 11 which is composed of a white coating and arranged in the outermost layer in contact with the outer surface 3a of the side part.
