PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a rotary drum, in an image recording device that records an image by discharging liquid to a recording medium supported on the outer peripheral surface of the rotary drum from a discharge head.SOLUTION: The image recording device comprises: a rotary drum that rotates while winding a recording medium around an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrically-shaped hollow outer peripheral member; a discharge head that is opposite to the outer peripheral surface of the rotary drum and discharges liquid to the recording medium wound around the outer peripheral surface of the rotary drum; and an air blowing portion that blows gas to a hollow part surrounded by the outer peripheral member of the rotary drum from one side of the rotary drum in a shaft direction that is a direction that the rotating shaft of the rotary drum extends; and an exhaust portion that discharges gas from the hollow part to the other side in the shaft direction. |
