<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate magnetic saturation that may occur in a stator core since, if a linear part is provided in an outer circumferential part of the stator core for improving material yield, an interval between the linear part and the bottom of a slot becomes narrow so that a magnetic flux is easily saturated in the linear part of the stator core and further, the magnetic saturation reduces efficiency of a revolving armature and causes electromagnetic vibration/noise. <P>SOLUTION: A stator core for lamination is employed which includes: a core back provided with an arcuate circumference part and a chord-shaped linear part continued to the circumference part in its outer circumference; and a plurality of continuous teeth provided in an inner circumference of the core back and extended toward an axial center of the core back. At the back of teeth closest to the linear part of the core back, a recess inward from the linear part is provided and at the back of a slot closest to the linear part of the core back, a projection outward from the linear part is provided, respectively.
