<p>The invention relates to an anti-tipping fitting of a piece of furniture that can be installed in front of a wall, comprising a first fitting element, which can be mounted on a wall and which has a cross-section that is approximately T-shaped in the top view and that has a web extending to the wall and a projection spaced from the wall, and comprising a second fitting element, which can be mounted on a piece of furniture and which has a securing edge that grips behind the projection of the wall-side fitting element. According to the invention, the furniture-side fitting element has a slit extending upright, wherein the width of the slit is at least 2 mm larger than the width of the web of the wall-side fitting element and less than the width of the projection of the wall-side fitting element in such a way that the two flanks of the furniture-side fitting element bounding the slit form two securing edges, and the slit opens to the surroundings at one of the two ends of the slit in such a way that the furniture-side fitting element can be guided over the web of the wall-side fitting element by means of the slit, and the furniture-side fitting element has two fitting plates spaced from each other, of which the one fitting plate faces the wall-side fitting element and the other fitting plate faces the piece of furniture, and of which the fitting plate facing the wall-side fitting element has the slit, and the distance of which from each other is dimensioned so as to allow the projection to be accommodated. The invention further relates to a fitting arrangement, in which a wall-side fitting element is fixed on a wall and a furniture-side fitting element is fixed on a piece of furniture, and the fitting elements are designed according to the preceding claims.</p> |
