PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead storage battery the end of life of which can be recognized easily by a user while minimizing "sudden death" occurring due to elongation of a grid, etc.SOLUTION: The electrode plate of a lead storage battery is produced by filling a grid composed of lead or a lead alloy with an active material paste containing lead and a lead compound. The grid consists of at least an upper frame bone, a lug projecting above the upper frame bone, a grid bone developed below the upper frame bone, and an intersection of the grid bones. Width of the intersection at the lower part of the grid is set narrower than that at the upper of the grid. |
