PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system capable of reducing a time taken to completion of setting a wavelength path.SOLUTION: The control system comprises: plural optical links that link devices on an optical network on the basis of information such as flow destinations; a topology server that stores respective wavelengths of the optical links and topology information representing whether or not the respective wavelengths are in use; and a setting device that requests a path determining apparatus to determine a route and wavelength of a path requested by a path setting request, transmits a command to set a path of the wavelength to a device on the route on receiving information on the determined route and wavelength of the path from the path determining apparatus, and when the path is set, updates topology information by notifying the topology server of information on the set route and wavelength of the path. On receiving the request to determine the route and wavelength of the path from the setting apparatus, the path determining apparatus acquires topology information from the topology server, and determines the route and wavelength of the path, requested by the path setting request, on the basis of the topology information. |
