PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cyclic porphyrin multimer and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The cyclic porphyrin multimer is obtained by a coupling reaction of a compound represented by formula (2) [where R1's each independently represent any group selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an organic group, a cyano group, an amino group, a hydroxy group, a sulfanyl group, a sulfo group, and a halogen atom; rings A's each independently represent a 5- or 6-membered heteroaromatic ring which may have a substituent; Y's each independently represent a halogen atom; and M1 represents two hydrogen atoms, a metal ion, or a metal ion having a ligand]. |
