<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code reader and a program capable of efficiently reading a service label attached to a commodity.SOLUTION: The code reader includes: imaging means for taking an image of a commodity; first detection means for detecting commodity information on the commodity from the image of the commodity taken by the imaging means; second detection means for detecting a service label indicating the content of a service to be given to the commodity from the commodity image taken by the imaging means: and determination means for determining whether the commodity for the commodity information detected by the first defection means is registered in a list in which commodity information on commodities which are not subject to detection by the second detection means is registered. The second detection means detects a service label when the determination means determines that the commodity is not registered in the list.</p> |
